It is found in Algeria, France, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, and Tunisia. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, sandy shores, arable land, pastureland, plantations, and rural gardens. It is threatened by habitat loss. |
